US senator says Ukraine is gold mine' with $12 trillion of minerals we can't afford to lose'
Ukraine is a "gold mine" with $12 trillion worth of critical minerals, US Senator Lindsey Graham insisted in a TV interview. He said the West "can't afford to lose", and called to prevent Russia and China from accessing strategic natural resources.

It's a shame that today's GOP can't be counted on to help support a democracy's struggle against Russian fascism out of principle. Maybe dollar signs will do the trick where ideals and morality will not.

But to be fair, they did throw in a Trump Towers Hotel Kiev Building Permit.

And those Moscow------------- pics they've been holding onto.

So getting something in return for all the money we are giving Ukraine is a bad thing? Zelinsky said it was fair as well. If you disagree with this it is because of severe TDS,

Yes, Zelenskiyy says it's fair, because Zelenskiyy is not an idiot. Because saying anything else would mean that Ukraine wouldn't get a dime of our money while Hair Furor has a say.

Shaking down a democracy while it's fighting for its very existence against Russian fascism strikes me as wrong. But I guess that means I wouldn't be a very good MAGAt. Apparently, our only concern under Trump is whether our actions will turn us a profit, because that's the way Trump's mercenary mind works.

#4 But you don't have an issue with the US providing other countries under our 40 Billion a year foreign aid budget with $ in exchange for protection. What's the difference?

I'm not entirely sure I follow your question but I don't think this situation is the same. In particular, this one is being sought under duress, granted not of our making.

Anywho, this is the best that can be accomplished under this president, so I'm glad that Ukraine has the resources to buy our protection.

It's unfortunate that this will be twisted by our enemies into a "The US is trying to steal Russian resources!" talking point to try to make us appear as bad as the bald thieving Moscow Midget. And that it will probably plant the seed of discord amongst Ukraine's other supporting nations as Russia orders useful idiots to create outcry that their countries aren't also getting a piece of the Ukrainian pie.

Hopefully Ukraine's allies understand that this is the only way to motivate Trump to defend Ukraine, and that most Americans are not as venal and transactional as that pile of orange excrement.

- venal and transactional

Which are some of his better qualities.
