Trade Deficit Up from Biden's Despite Trump Tariffs
The gap between the value of goods imported into the US and American products sold to other countries widened by 2.1% compared to 2024 despite Trump's tariffs, hitting roughly $1.2 trillion (890m), official figures show.

BTW: 2025 calendar year was the worst for American job creation in a non-recessionary year since 2003 " & the 2nd worst since 1960.
The 181,000 jobs created in 2025 are a sharp drop from the 1.46 million created in 2024 " a period Trump claims was an "economic catastrophe"
- Biden averaged 320,000 jobs a month - Trump has averaged 1500 jobs a month since imposing tariffs.

The January jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics came in Wednesday morning and showed the nation added just 181,000 jobs between January 2025 and January 2026.
