"Attention is all you need", the study that current generative AI is built on, came out 3 years after Alexa and 6 after Siri. Now with every company pursuing their own large language models, the assistants will get a lot better.

We wanted a shrub and Alexa insisted on censoring the Wikipedia article on ----- willow. The next day she flat out refused to retrieve the article on Dick Van ----.
