"I am glad to be able to continue my work as an independent government watchdog and whistleblower advocate," Dellinger said in a statement after the ruling. "I am grateful to the judges and justices who have concluded that I should be allowed to remain on the job while the courts decide whether my office can retain a measure of independence from direct partisan and political control."

Simmering below the surface of the case are more fundamental questions about Trump's power to fire potential critics who enjoy for-cause removal protections in federal law. For now, those questions will remain unanswered. But they will almost certainly wind their way back to the court in the coming weeks."

It's a real shame that in Trumpy's America before you can return to work on a job you were legally hired for you that you first have to get a lawyer to protect you from an imperial presidency.

By denying Trump a few "wins" to demonstrate their bipartisanship, I have a feeling the U.S. Supreme Court is setting us up for THE BIG ONE that will give Trump the unlimited power he's sought after his entire mentally deranged life ~~ including the authority to nullify States' Rights, thereby avoiding a Constitutional Convention normally needed to alter (in Trump's case, re-write) the U.S. Constitution. (With the assistance of the Heritage Foundation, of course.)

"Is the fat idiot golfing again?"

I hope so. That's where the Secret Service say he's the most vulnerable for assassination.

he's the most vulnerable for assassination.

You don't want that. It'll be more entertaining watching what's left of his mind dissolve into mush. He'll start talking to dead people in interviews soon.
