They're not deported immediately.
They're flown around the country and housed in private prisons at great cost to the taxpayer, providing literally no value to the taxpayer.

Linked to a gang.

For example, if you got jumped out of the gang, you are still linked to a gang.
For example, if you have any relatives who are in a gang, you are linked to a gang.
For example, if you have a tattoo that might also be worn by anyone in a gang, you are linked to a gang.
