... Oh my land is like a wild goose Wanders all around everywhere Trembles and it shakes til every tree is loose It rolls the meadows and it rolls the nails So take me down to your dance floor And I won't mind the people when they stare Paint a different color on your front door And tomorrow we will still be there Jesus built a ship to sing a song to It sails the rivers and it sails the tide Some of my friends don't know who they belong to Some can't get a single thing to work inside So take me down to your dance floor And I won't mind the people when they stare Paint a different color on your front door And tomorrow we will still be there I love you, darlin', now I'm leaving I can see the sorrow in your eyes Hope you know a lot more than you believe in Hope the sun don't hurt you when you cry So take me down to your dance floor And I won't mind the people when they stare Paint a different color on your front door And tomorrow we may still be there And tomorrow we may still be there ...

I felt that Proud Boys and Antifa would be implemented around the Portland protests, so went to the Gresham event.
The peaceful protest in Gresham had zero police presence until after the mass march when one officer slid behind me and waited for the crowd to disperse.
Thousands of people, mostly families and LOTS of elders - it felt empowering and everyone had a great time.
There were also zero news crews.

If this is the standard now then every NBA, NFL, MLB championship celebration would be considered a riot.

Finally got some good information on the "riot":
This occurred in front of the unwanted ICE facility blocking their driveway from "deliveries" of abducted fellow citizens.
It also turns out ICE are raiding Oregon wine processing - they are terrorizing our agricultural industry.
This building was undoubtedly chosen for it's proximity to the closest Tesla dealership.
Portland police has declared the entire city is a "riot zone" when it was the one block in front of ICE and Tesla.
The police used HC which was banned in the 90's because of it's serious toxicity.
This isn't what chief Bob had stated was their goal, yet here we go yet again..
I do not predict the future of this police force to survive mass public displeasure over banned chemical agents utilized to lock down and terrorize our communities, not just the abductions impact on business and families or Portland's status as a sanctuary city.

A nurse was shot in the eye with a rubber bullet, probably resulting in blindness. The Portland police are too comfortable using drastic methods which commonly result in horrific preventable tragedies.
