The mayor of Hiroshima has called on President Donald Trump to visit the site of the 1945 atomic bombing after the president drew a parallel between the nuclear attacks that ended World War II and recent U.S. airstrikes on Iran.

Sadly Trump doesn't have the intellectual capacity or emotional maturity to understanding the meaning of the history that is on display in Hiroshima and the lasting impact of the bombing of the city.

If they did, how could they keep saying Nuking Two Civilian targets was "Necessary"?

It's a National Blind Spot.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were unnecessary war crimes.

America Shamed itself using those horrible things on Civilians.

#3 pretty flippant to say that from the distance of it in 2025.
If you know the history, you know we were gonna go island hopping to Japan and what the dead body mounting would be like. The world turned out just fine the way it ended. It's a shame Tojo didn't wanna save his people and country.
