Republicans now say anyone can be detained, just for being suspicious.

Probable Cause or reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime is no longer required.

Fun time to be a First Amendment auditor.

Great time to be a self appointed constitutional scholar like JeffJ.

Edward Snowden warned us years ago the US was constructing an all-intrusive, all-seeing panopticon.

Between video surveillance, warrantless ICE communication interception/hacking from hi-tech Israeli equipment, DHS amassing voter/driver license info from every state, and IRS info becoming available to DHS, the US will have a police state that Josef Stalin or Der Fuhrer could only dream of.

We're all Palestinians now.

And do you think a non-Republican POTUS in 2028 or 2032 will order these Border Patrol cameras dismantled or the massive DHS electronic gulag scrubbed?

In the 21st century, no Democratic POTUS did anything to dismantle DHS or defang the warrantless powers of ICE, both constructs of George "Dubya" Bush and the "Global War on Islam."
