It's time to get excited about the December and January #meteor showers! The #Geminids is 1st, best seen overnight on December 13-14. Next comes the #Ursids on the morning of December 22. Then the New Year starts with the #Quadrantids on the morning of January 4. buff.ly/lD14ZKA EarthSky.org.

I miss the days when there wasn't 6 "supermoons" every year and the sky wasn't so full of orbiting junk you could actually enjoy a meteor shower.

Heady days, those were.
