The New York Times had previously reported that the IDF created both a legion of amputees and an army of orphans in the Gaza Strip, an area the size of US city Philadelphia, PA.

An international arrest warrant issued by the ICC for crimes against humanity remains active for Benjamin Netanyahu. In addition, the Istanbul Public Prosecutor in Turkiye issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and 32 other Israelis accused of committing war crimes. An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law or at an international tribunal at the Hague.
