"The activation of the Army Security Cooperation Group-South (ASCG-S) is yet another visible step in the Army and US military's ongoing effort to revitalize security in the western hemisphere and with the regional partners therein. The ASCG-S is excited to evolve into a premier jungle force capable of enabling training and readiness for and looking for units to train in this environment and individual soldiers seeking opportunities to enter the triple-canopy arena."

"During the Global War on Terrorism" (GWOT), the US military put less of an emphasis on jungle warfare training. But last fall, conventional American troops returned to Panama for the first time in more than two decades to re-learn jungle survival and combat tactics.

The 21-day jungle warfare course is held at Aeronaval Base Cristobal Colon, a former US Army base that was transferred to the Panamanians in 1999."

The US military also trains in jungle warfare at the JOTC in the Philippines.

Re-starting jungle warfare training in Panama is completely in line with Dummkopf Trumpf's intentions of turning the Western Hemisphere into an American backyard for oligarchs to exploit its natural resources (AKA the Donroe Doctrine"), all enforced by the US military and rightwing regimes loyal to Trumpf. For northern operations, the Trumpf junta can deploy two US Army infantry divisions, the 10th Mountain and the 11th Airborne ("Arctic Angels.")
