"Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani and former President Barack Obama visited an early childhood education center in the South Bronx, where they read a children's book to a group of toddlers and met with families. In between singing songs, the two leaders discussed the Mayor's vision for this City, and the importance of giving New York's Cutest the strongest start possible."

@#1

What works for the Democrats in NYC may not work for Democrats in other parts of the Country.

Why do you have such low opinion of democrats outside of NYC?

@#3 ... Why do you have such low opinion of democrats outside of NYC? ...

I don't have a low opinion of Democrats outside of NYC.

I just think that they have different issues that concern them.

Mayor Mamdani seems to be doing very well. The local news coverage shows him following through on his campaign promises.

And he still talks with the people of NYC instead of at them.

I just think that they have different issues that concern them.

Childcare, cheaper rent, the rich paying taxes, our taxes paying to help make food cheaper..?

Which of these don't you think democrats are fond about?

Connecticut democrats not fond of such things?

Or did you mean he's Islamic?

Cause you're probably right about that.

#5 People tend to elect messengers, regardless of message being peddled.

Sometimes even in spite of the message being peddled.

During one of his presidential campaigns, a woman yelled out to Adlai Stevenson, "Senator, you have the vote of every thinking person!" The Senator responded, "That's not enough, madam, we need a majority!"

None of them.

But he has also campaigned on other issues.

For example, subways.

Are subway issues widespread among other Democrats across the Country?

@#6 ... Or did you mean he's Islamic? ...

I have no concern about his religion.

Indeed, one of the reasons why I like Mayor Mamdani's style is that he respects the religion of others.

OK, as I wrote that, I realized that you may have a point.

That there are parts of Mayor's Mamdani's message that Democrats across the Country should also espouse.

OK, having said that, I will also say that Mayor Mamdani's style, not just his message, is what needs to be copied. His style of talking with people, and not at them. To be honest, that is an aspect of his campaign that impressed me the most.

Thanks for raising this discussion.

Multi-billion dollar AIPAC should just form their own US political party and call themselves the America Israel Party (AIP). This acronym was introduced into American politics in 1968. The America Independence Party (AIP) of George Wallace won 9.9m votes on Tuesday 5 Nov 1968.

If AIPAC has its own political party, the US Republican and Democratic Parties can then elect their own leaders without foreign influence, putting America's needs ahead of over other nations, namely wealthy, nuclear-armed Israel, a country that receives billions of dollars a year from the US and offers world class universal healthcare for all its residents.

With three choices facing the American electorate, moribund turn out rates on election days might finally exceed its abysmal 65% average.

After House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) grudgingly endorsed fellow New Yorker and Democrat Zohran Mamdani late in the 2025 NYC mayoral race, other AIPAC mega recipients turned on Hakeem Jeffries. US Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), another AIPAC mega recipient, never endorsed Zohran and fellow Democrat John Fetterman (D-Israel) slimed the amiable and effective Mr. Mamdani-- his fellow Democrat.

Bipartisan Islamophobic AIPAC should just form their own US political party and leave the Democrats and Republicans alone.

Those Republicans that are enthralled by Vladimir Putin should also form their own political party, the Russian American Party (RAP).

"Moscow Mitch" and disgraced PV1 Michael Flynt can be the first candidates: resources.koha.net

Obama is like Herpes. No matter how hard you try you can't get rid of him.
