A good animal trainer can get an animal to perform as desired (or adjusts the act accordingly). Putin hasn't trained Old Yeller to be a perimeter patroller. Vlad wanted a lapdog, and that's what he got.

They don't need Photo Prop for that anyway. Or much of anything else.

When Israel ordered the US "civilization destroying" air assault on Iran, Photo Prop was 1,400 miles away in Croatia getting its washing machine fixed and "entertaining" local dignitaries.
