Islamophobic DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin fearmongering on Faux News: "We've seen an unusual amount of Iranian nationals trying to sneak in through our northern border, not our southern border. It's worrisome....We're still hosting the World Cup and Iran has a team that's playing in it. In fact, the team is playing today in LA. So these games that Iran plays unfortunately makes them an adversary that you can't trust."

Iranian people are welcomed in Canada

Islamophobic hate-monger Markwayne Mullet's nomination to be Secretary of DHS was advanced out of committee by none other AIPAC darling US Senator John Fetterman (D-Israel). During a House committee meeting on funding earlier this month, Rep. Al Green (D-TX) rightfully called S/DHS Markwayne Mullin a "racist," then repeatedly ordered the obnoxious white supremacist bully to "shut up."

@3 I missed that skit but I'm sure the SNL crew got some much needed laughs at that awful time.

Some right wing Americans seem to think that because Canada is socialist and have strict privacy laws to protect people from unwarranted invasion, that their security services are inadequate. After 9/11 came a wave of fear that jihadists will walk across the border from Canada into the US since our international frontier was the least protected border in the world.
