Reagan had nothing to do with the rise of the Solidarity union/movement.

And, just so you don't have to crack open a history book, the Iron Curtain fell on GHW Bush's watch, not Reagan's.

The mother tried. School officials looked for him but mistakenly focused on a student with a similar name.

They could have locked down the school before gunshots erupted.

Where's all the concern about Trump's age? Wasn't Biden's age a big issue with Republicans? "He's too old!"

Trump and Biden would have been in the same high school at the same time. Trump's a doddering geriatric. Time for the media to focus on Trump's age and mental acuity.

Rational, sane folks can easily tell Trump's a mental basket case.

Our cat's a friendly guy who'd eat himself to 38 pounds if we let him, but we don't. He gets along with our 3 dogs and plays a lot with one of them (chase, taking turns).

We've had more than a couple opossums take up residence around our house or in the basement when it gets cold. Several years ago, just before what turned out to be a bitterly cold winter for her, a mama gave birth to 10 joeys in our basement. She got through to it from a crawl space in another section of our house.

We fed them all winter with tuna and dog food mostly (which our vet recommended) and left fresh water. In the spring, when the joeys were old enough to fend for themselves, I trapped mama and the rest of them and relocated them to a copse of woods behind our house. The runt returned three times, so I took her to a wildlife rescue where she lived out the rest of her life by a beautiful creek behind their medical building. Staff at Walden's Puddle told me she came up on the porch every afternoon for a treat. Guess she liked people. She was really cute both as a youngster and juvenile.

I've trapped and relocated others who've shown up around here to a beautiful lake minutes from my house that doesn't have any residences on it and tens of thousands of acres of surrounding woods with everything they need.

Most people aren't aware opossums only live an average of 2 years. They aren't aggressive at all, carry no diseases, and are really neat creatures all the way around. America's only marsupials.

The couple of times I've bought one ...

Gift cards still have to be activated by a cashier, right? The could of times I've bought one, that was the procedure. Worthless without.

Not sure how thieves could use the ones they stole.

At first, it was due to Trump's reputation for stiffing attorneys (and remember how much he owes Rudy Colludy?).

Then, white shoe criminal defense attorneys and their firms turned him down because he won't follow directions from legal counsel.

Or, simply not wanting to be associated with a client like him, just as they'd turn down defending a drug lord or mass murderer.

Republicans whine about Soros, their principal bogeyman, all while billionaires like Peter Thiel fund elections for Vance, and Sheldon Adelson's wife gets a Presidential Medal of Freedom for donating hundreds of millions a year to Republicans.

BTW, this week, a guy here in Nashville was on a two lane highway on the way to take his dog swimming.

A pickup was tailgating him, anxious to pass or whatever.

When they guy and his dog were stopped in a left turn lane at a light on the two lane highway, the driver of the pickup pulled next to him, fired two shots into his car, and killed his dog.

This random gun violence ---- has to stop. None of us are safe. Not even traveling down an interstate.

Republicans will send meaningless "thoughts and prayers" and say "nothing can be done" as they whine about 2nd Amendment.

Where did the shooter get the gun? Was it one of the guns his father said he used for hunting and which he said Colt didn't have unsupervised access too?

It was reported the kid was given an AR-15 as a "holiday gift" last year.

If that report is accurate, the father should spend the rest of his life in prison after last year's FBI/Local Police warning about the kid's fascination with Columbine and his online threats to commit a school shooting.

Walz and his family are goodhearted, kind people. We sure could use more of that in America.

Man, are those who rightly criticized Trump then bent the knee - Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell, etc etc - hypocrites or what?!

What the hell is up with the MAGA-Russia partnerships over the past 8 years? Trump telling them to "find Hillary's emails," Maria Butina, a Russian spy who took up with high level conservative operative, fraudster Paul Erickson (who Trump later pardoned), Russian shilling for Trump/MAGA, and Russian money that's been flowing in to support Trump by hook or crook since 2016.

When will the millions being duped by Trump realize they're doing Putin's bidding?
