Alex,
"amazon sells 86/46 shirts about Biden. Get a grip, people."
There's a major difference between a political slogan on a novelty shirt and a cryptic post by a former FBI director involving imagery that can be interpreted as a call to violence. One is satire sold by third parties. The other comes from someone who once held power over national security investigations.
Intent and context matter.
When someone in Comey's position posts "8647," it's not just edgy. It's reckless, especially after real attempts on Trump's life.
Kash Patel, in his book Government Gangsters, said the FBI under Comey was "weaponized against the very people it was meant to protect," describing it as a rogue agency driven by political bias rather than justice.
Americans are right to take it seriously.
Alex,
The part of this that's makes it sort of cautionary is this is a second time he posted something along these lines.
If Comey had just thought it had no specific meaning, he wouldn't have posted it.
I'm repeating myself so I have nothing else to say.
