Yeppers... Trump's best pitch now to his Base is that, 'your vote will keep me outta prison!'.

But the non-Base swing voters aren't quite as concerned about that as is the Base.

I think maybe enough of them are willing to let the legal system do it's damn job.

Without political appointee judges like Cannon and on the SC, and lies about so-called by Trumpers 'political prosecutions' in the DoJ stopping them.

If they want to see actual political prosecutions, those are mostly in the Republican House which will hold Hearings on impeaching Biden, but ignore the Trump Crime Family's income while in the WH.

And make excuses for SC Justices taking bribes.

This was a huge deal, PN being an inordinately important state in the vote.

But more reform is needed nationwide, like making the Electoral College more representative of the popular vote, which can be done without a an Amendment if one can get enough votes in Congress.

See, here's the thing.

There are still 'feel good' stories out there about Harris and Walz that haven't been told, but there are NO 'feel good' stories about the 58% negative popularity Trump, so all he has is the Hate.

Now, the Hate can go along way, but all it ever causes is pain.

Elections these days are decided by low-info swing voters who do their best at the Voting Booth, but who are swayed by general observations of people and 'news', which they are too busy trying to stay above water to pay much attention to.

These voters will vote their sense of optimism and hope or their sense of desperation and despair, and we can only hope they choose the former.

Every day policy positions are being provided by a Campaign that didn't exit mere weeks ago.
