Trump says Musk Would Head a Gov Efficiency Commission

Former President Trump said during an economic speech Thursday that if elected, his administration would create an Elon Musk-inspired government efficiency commission that would audit U.S. agencies.

Trump backed the idea, first pitched by the Tesla billionaire weeks ago, before a group of high profile academics and business leaders at the Economic Club of New York.

Musk has said this commission would aim to examine how agencies are spending money, and eliminate "unsensible" spending.

Trump and Musk are the results of the movement starting with Nixon and Reagan towards Corporate Personhood, and now a Corporate Presidency... and proud of it.

Would Mr Musk look at all the government money his companies, specifically SpaceX and Tesla, receive?

Or would he just go after government programs he, personally, disagrees with?

It's interesting that the solution to government waste would be to create a new agency that duplicates the work of other agencies that currently exist to find redundant spending.
