I think it's possible, however unlikely, that there's a reason why Trump gets away with the things he says and does:

Walz wasn't his usual 'Happy Warrior' Hubert Humphrey self... he was more the soft spoken Minnesota neighbor who doesn't want to offend anyone.

Which was tragic to watch, but won't be remembered next week by pretty much anyone voting a month from now.
