Trump has long yammered his support for changing libel laws so, in effect, he can't be exposed and criticized.

Interesting that the Dems are rapidly energizing and expanding their base, while the GOPers are still trying to get their shrinking, bored base off its collective arse. They seem to sense the show has long since gone into reruns or reruns and won't be renewed for another season

The BP is not a magnet for "the best." It's loaded with unimpressive people impressed by their own uniforms, badges, guns, and power.

Another bastard offspring from the Roberts Court and a paean to wackdoodle "originalism."
To get around Heller's conclusion that the government may regulate dangerous and unusual weapons like fully automatic firearms, Broomes primarily argues that there were no laws similar to the modern-day ban on machine guns either in 18th century England or during the period around America's founding. Of course, there's a really obvious reason why no actual machine gun ban existed in the 1700s: The machine gun wasn't invented until 1884. www.vox.com

Never thought I'd actually see a simpering wimp nominated for the presidency. More brains and guts are needed for that job than Trump can ever summon forth in his burger-fueled fantasies. You want alpha? Vote for Harris.

Bootsie is term-limited and cannot run for governor in the 2026 election. So what's open? At this point, baring an appointment in another Trump misadmimkstration, the guy seems kinda stuck. Skeletor Scott is running for reelection to the Senate this year. And Lil Marco won't be up again until 2028. That's a lot of time for DeSantis to become just another dimly remembered failed pol. Sorry, Casey, looks like the drapes are going back.

On a good, really good, day Mark Robinson might think of aspiring to "weird." Mostly, though, he's a MAGAt certifiable and way beyond anything so bland as "weird."

TWINPAC Remember Mitt Romney's cringimgly humiliating Secretary of State dinner interview with the man-baby? For Fat Elvis, the name of the game is ritualized humiliation.

Trump really has a thing about "the Jews," who must bend to his will, behaving as he thinks they should lest they reveal themselves to be not-good Jews.
He's revealed himself to be a spittle spewing, raving antisemite not much removed from the Horst Wessel cosplayers he calls "patriots." Sign up for Trump's Krazy Train, you get automatic access to the antisemitic tropes department.

I've only seen one person in either the top or secondary position on a national ticket ever actually mock someone dealing disabilities.
Take a wild guess who that might be.

The story of how/why the Chapito apparently delivered Zambada to the gringos started out as a confusing jigsaw puzzle for which the image sometimes changed and the number of pieces never remained constant. Cuen's killing evidently complicated matters somewhat. Again, how/why remains ... murky. We may get a better idea in the coming court proceedings. From Mexico we will get nothing but the system's usual reflexive obfuscation and situational indolence.
