Tax the billionaire caste until the poor have as good a medical system as the very rich. Then bring back the draft and have all citizens, male and female serve their country in order to be eligible for the new medical system. As it is, the inherited wealthy live as gods, and the poor live as permanent members of the refugee caste, in a country where shelter education and medical care are priced out of reach.

We are Ukraine, as it was when Yanukovych was President. He was a Putin stooge, and ran the country into the ground, and then with Putin's help was able to run away to Moscow. And a greatly weakened Ukraine was attacked by the mass murdering war criminal Putin.
Trump is our greatest enemy, and we elected him twice. Not sure what the future holds, but I do fear for our Constitutional Republic.

At this point, many of us out here are wondering if anyone is minding the store, rather than grabbing for all the grift they can get.

Hey, if idiots elect a human caused global warming denier, they have to expect losing a lot of the coastline,, expect more and more deadly storms taking apart homes...you have to expect more social unrest as the poor understand it is all a game, and the game is rigged so they lose, and if they are Black or Brown, they have to expect a uniformed someone pointing a weapon at them sooner or later.

He and his grifting family have influence peddled their way to untold billions, so I doubt that anyone in the Trump gang need worry about how to pay for Thanksgiving dinner, or paying the rent/taxes on any of the many homes they have.
We are about to find out what life in the Great Depression was like, unless we really do replace the Republican Party with the Democrats to get things done. One has to wonder just how the corrupt federal Supreme Court will rule over tariffs, as if they have to be paid back...economic disaster, but If they are allowed to stand, more Trumpian grifting manipulation of markets and former allies.

Take away my right to live and vote in a blue state, in this case, Oregon which has a vote by mail system, and you take away my freedom to express myself, and you take away my constitutional rights, as elections are mandated to be a state's right to determine.
But then, it is quite in keeping with the fascist right's adherence to the Putinesque scheme of creating a pretend democracy so the very rich can rule as gods, and we the poor can suffer and die without housing or health care or even keeping the right to elect our leaders.

And then maybe talk about the reasons that we poor die nine years before rich people. Maybe talk about the need for national health care, we need SNAP, we need more low cost housing...
Yeah, the fascists pretending to be leaders of our democracy are in reality leaders of those who want to bankrupt America so they can end SS and Medicare.
Trump is a Nipo who is spectacularly ignorant of the stresses of life on the bottom of the economic pyramid.

Clearly, American fascism has the intent of having the oligarch caste buy up all the national media, and shut down the independent voices that oppose the Trump gang. I am a low income person who subscribes to the Times because more and more, especially after Bezos castratied the Post, I see that my hope, my mental health, is linked to having a sense I live in a democracy, not a Putinesque pretend democracy.

There is stupid, but really, Trump is only pretending to be dumb, he knows that reducing radiation protections will kill people, but then, he knows human caused global warming is a great danger, and still he makes a lot of money supporting those who are polluting our air.
No such thing as a good Republican in the time of Trump...they are on board his dark and dangerous ship, and it is heading straight for the rocks of bankruptcy.

No matter, his grifting, influence peddling family will still make billions on is capricious ways...just give someone half an hour to invest on the internal news that the tariff decision goes against him, or some other significant legal decision affecting the stock market and they are set for life. He knows how to make a billion in a bankruptcy.

History will be the judge, if we don't blow ourselves up in the meantime. And history will show Trump to be the worst President the US has ever had, clearly a grifter out to loot the treasury, to enrich his billionaire caste by lowering taxes until the country is bankrupt, and then take away FDR's safety net.
Influence peddling is illegal, believe it or not.
So is extrajudicial killing of criminal suspects...both internationally and within each and every jurisdiction in America.

If Trump gets told that he overplayed his tariff hand, the money would have to be returned to...just who exactly?
As it is, Trump's major claim to fame is that he delivered a great big beautiful tax cut to his oligarch caste...and that was only possible with the money from the tariffs to offset the lack of taxes.
I wildly distrust this federal Supreme Court since he put three liars onto it, people who said they believed in settled law and all. I think one thing is certain, Trump will somehow profit and the poor will be screwed,,, that is the contract his administration has ON the poor and the powerless in America.

I am not a federal Supreme Court Justice, but I know that murder is murder, in every jurisdiction in these United States, to kill a criminal suspect in an extrajudicial way is in fact murder.

And I thought I totally distrusted the George W. Bush regime, compared to this Trump debacle, w was a genius and trustworthy as hell.

And Putin thought Ukraine was a ----- cat. It turned out to be willing to fight and perhaps die on the hill of independence from Russian gangsters.
Still, chaos works for Trump, as does that darkness that comes in the night and takes away your job, your housing, your food, and along the way it creates deadly wars all over the place.

So If I have a personal religion that says women are second class citizens so I don't have to hire or treat them with respect, is that ok? Can I refuse to hire Christians, or people who refuse to kiss my ass?

We all know the urge to just unload as the frustrations build up and build up, had the same urge yesterday myself. But I have learned that the next day usually reveals my need to apologize, so kept it to myself. But hey, what is the fun of being a fascist if you have to think of other people, and other days?

Stupid exercise in going along to get along, at the right time.
This morning I did turn the clocks back, but my computer and other links refused to do so, which kind of messed with my head at 3am.

No such thing as a good Republican in the time of Trump, for they have to support his march to total control, putting incompetent people like Patel and Kennedy in charge of American power centers. Sure, at least for the time being, we are screwed, and those who protest are seen as the enemy of the coming fascist state.

A democracy cannot slip to being an autocratic fascist gang unless the independent media is intimidated and shut down. That is clearly happening in real time as the billionaire oligarchs like Bezos buy off the media and turn it into just another tool of the far right.
A democracy has to have two independent political parties both dedicated to the rule of law and one person, one vote democracy. The Republican Party has been lost to Trumpian fascism...so there is that.
A democracy has to have an independent legal system, and as exemplified by the Roberts court, far right fascism is seen as originalism, and the rich have the right of representation and the poor have the right to suffer.

Well, when you elect a clear fascist to be President, you have to expect his hand in everything, the way Al Capone's hand would have run things including the legal system.

The surprising thing is that this particular opportunity for Republican Party corruption in alliance with the Russian super wealth was stopped. Who on earth this guy was a good candidate for that post?

The NDA also hinder high ranking officers from publicizing what they regard as illegal orders to invade without cause...that is a war of aggression and is illegal under UN standards, not that Trump cares a tiny bit about the UN and other nations.

It is probably even money that the federal Supreme Court will support Trump using federal troops in a Martial Law way. All Trump needs is a few fires and something he can declare as an insurrection. Scary times indeed.

And so we watch the ruling class, one by one, bend a knee to their lord and master...the king of Grifters...Donald John Trump.
