Murder and theft as American foreign policy...not the first time, but such bald faced assertion of right to steal and kill...usually they get the CIA or someone to say America is under attack.

I am old, and am more than a little...frustrated that this is just another example of the Republican Party using political power to enrich itself at the expense of the treasury and using war and death to stay in power.

We are led by Al Capone and his allied gansters...pure and simple. They are looting the treasury just as the Soviet Empire treasury was looted as that Empire fell.

Want to know how long the Sunni (Saudi)-Shia (Iran) Civil War has been raging? Just put that question into google search.. of course the Saudis want the US to go bankrupt killing Shias and turning the Middle East back to their version of Islam. We are such fools to have bought into that idiocy. Talk about warmongers...Saudi Arabia and Israel...and of course our cognitively impaired President is an easy mark to both of those countries. Cross his palms with silver and America will invade anyone, anywhere, at any time.

Trump lies...that is all anyone has to know when they see a headline that somehow favors Trump. Iran has said there will be no negotiation with the US, and after that murderous attack I really doubt they will be lead to peace talks.

Trump profits from chaos, it was the same for when Nixon got reelected and certainly for George w who strutted about as a wartime President. Yes, we may have lost our democracy, thanks to MAGA.

In our face fascism, as it is clear that the Trump brand of American fascism is on the march, and we all know that fascists don't walk away from power without a lot of bodies being strewn about. They have to subvert our democracy or they will fall in the midterms and then in 2028.

Lying fascist at it again, throwing out the flimsiest of lies to justify murders of opposition figures.

No doubt about it, before Trump leaves office he will try another fascist coup, and if it doesn't work, I would expect him to resign and have either President Vance or President Rubio pardon him and his entire grifting family. And the Republican Party will do little to nothing to protect the American people from Trump.

Glad I am old and probably won't live to see the day that full on "dear leader" fascism comes to America, the billionaire oligarchs in America, as in Russia, are now gods, able to make up any news that they want to so the people have to see propaganda rather than news.

Trump Epstein files are still mostly hidden from the American people, and one can only imagine what those hundreds of thousands of references to Trump are about.
The DOJ is supposed be the people's agency, but instead, they are Trump's personal coverup squad.

There is no "cure" for capitalism, it lies through its teeth so that it can turn Americans into frightened indentured servants to be fired at will when a robot or piece of software can do their jobs. If you trust Musk or Trump or any of the MAGA billionaires, and you are poor...you are a fool. Soon America will be too bankrupt to fund fully social security or Medicare, that is the absolute truth.

Either Trump destroys the rule of law in America, as Putin has done in Russia, or he faces great risks of impeachment if the Dems take back Congress. So here we are, indulging in an illegal war of aggression against Iran, a nation not a danger to the US in the least, and our ally is the nuclear power Israel, and the war is to stop Iran from getting such nuclear weapons, which it doesn't to have an is willing to agree not to develop them.
Fascists love wars of aggression...wonder if Trump would actually dare attacking both Iran and Cuba at the same time.

Ah yes, of course, Trump is being used by the Russian fascists...but make no mistake about it, today's Republican Party is about Trumpianism, in spades. They want to have a pretend democracy, like Russia has, where taxes are cut until they are barely noticed by the oligarchs and the corporate boardrooms where American business is really run, who it is run for.

Ah yes, the rule of law...one remembers when America was run by such a concept, where there were consequences for the rich and powerful for killing, stealing, insurrection....
In today's America, there is no rule of law for rich people, just for the poor. If you have enough billions, you can buy Congress, you can, like Musk, buy the Presidency for Trump, but if you are struggling along with social security, and watching the approaching cutting of benefits thanks to the Trumpian gang not giving a damn about you...

Meanwhile, on this side of the Atlantic, those mentioned many times in the Trump/Epstein files are making plans for their next Republican fund raiser. I have little doubt Trump will, after the midterms, if they really do go against him and the Republican Party, pardon Maxwell, name Vance to the Supreme Court, put Rubio in as VP, and have Rubio automagically become President when Trump resigns, and then Rubio can pardon the entire criminal gang of Trump's, and Trump.
Why do I think that will happen? Because that is what I would do, and having lived through the Nixon years, watched that strategy work to keep a President out of court.

I do not know if James Mattis or John Kelly drink, but I would imagine times like these, when Trump threatens to cause a wildfire of war, that reminds Mattis and Kelly of their time keeping Trump mostly rational...and if they indulge...they shake their heads and take a sip and look to the skies imploring fate to let us survive as a democracy.

Too bad that the first organizations that Trump corrupted were the investigative services, and if they weren't mandated to be quiet about their activities, I am sure the CIA has been greatly weakened as well. You can buy a whole hell of a lot of grift, as in influence peddling, for one and a half billion crypto bucks.
Crypto is a threat to the dollar, when all is said and done, if it were me, I would be looking to make sure it had many more people regulating it.

Even if the coming elections go the Dems way, Trump will be influencing congress and certainly the courts. Lawsuit after lawsuit will have to be resolved, and it is conceivable that Trump has another three years, if he doesn't resign, to really screw things up.

Statistics are clear on the matter, if you bring a firearm into a household, the people most at risk from that weapon are people living in the house. When people lived miles from each other and getting their own food supplies was essential, owning a single shot weapon made sense. But in this wildly stressful world, having a loaded semiautomatic rifle within reach, when people lose their tempers and judgement, lives are lost.
Not to mention dogs are shot if they are worthless as hunting dogs...

I suspect there are a lot of Americans like me, who watched those tariffs run daily costs from small items like my daily fix of good dark chocolate to unacceptable heights... and then watched larger items get priced out of affordability, and hope Trump is the last politician who thinks taxing consumers to help producers is a good free market practice.
Of course Musk spent hundreds of millions of dollars to reinstall Trump into the White House, if the tariffs on Chinese Evs went away, so would Tesla.

Had an odd thought, what if the midterms actually go totally against Trump, as do the 2028 elections? Can I adjust to mostly trusting my government in contrast to how I feel about the Al Capone/Putin villains that are running things now? And for that matter, what on Earth would Fox propaganda news do for viewers if Trump is finally seen by MAGA as the danger that it truly is?
Can one live on trust? I forget.

Anyone else notice the similarities between cartel behavior and the behavior of MAGA when their leader is sidelined, as Trump was after the 2020 vote?
