The Republican Party of today is a criminal organization linked to the largest criminal organization, at least the most powerful, in American history, the Trump Empire. The Republican Party is going to try and help Trump steal the midterm elections by weakening the voting power of opposition parties.

And Bernie Madoff, in hell, is weeping, not in a fit of guilt of stealing millions from his friends in the Ponzi scheme of his, but weeping because he sees that Trump is a far far better criminal than he.

The idea of a powerful President that the founders had, resulted from the hope that the people would choose their leaders wisely, from amongst the best of them. Here we are with Al Capone in effect allied with our worst enemy Putin...grabbing for all the wealth he can, and corrupting the legal system as he will.

I do love this Pope, I do wonder if even he can elevate the status of women in the Catholic Church. Should be illegal to get tax rebates for a religion if they discriminate on the basis of race or gender. The Mormon church used not to allow black men to be priests, but after some efforts to take that to court, tada, now Black Men can be Mormon leaders. Women, on the other hand, well, you do remember the founders saying that "all men are created equal"...they were not using "male" to indicate both male and female, they really didn't want women to have power.

And the grift is still going on, so no way to know who else is going to lose in one of Trump's idiotic, though profitable for him, schemes. All over the world Trump family are making millions, if not hundreds of millions on influence peddling and other such corruption.
Trump cannot pardon himself, so sure, he pardons everyone he has ever conspired with, then he resigns, and the then VP becomes P, and pardons him.

For the most part, today's Republican Party is a danger to our Constitutional Republic, because they are smart enough to know that we have a sort of Al Capone now in the White House and almost no Republican has the spine to fight for us, non MAGA folk and protect our rights.
