Again, if it were me, I would be plotting out my resignation from the Presidency so that the VP can automatically rise to the Presidency and pardon me and my entire grifting gang. I do believe courts have ruled there are limits to a President's pardon power, he cannot pardon himself, and he cannot do it as part of a criminal activity. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the Roberts' Court holding him to the law.

Imagine just pulling up stakes and leaving the insanity of the Middle East, lock, stock and apartheid funding. We tend to our knitting, and nuclear missile armed Israel makes peace with its neighbors, or not. America is fast becoming bankrupt, the way the Soviet became bankrupt.

Here is the threat, or one of them at least. Either trump gets total immunity for everything, including the insanely profitable crypto scams, or he holds another coup.

Why yes, our country is falling fast, as the Soviet Union fell, first to becoming bankrupted by insane foreign wars and by leadership of, as Navalny described, them, the senile. Then, the billionaire Russian oligarchs stole everything that wasn't nailed down, and then...dictatorship and pretend democracy with pretend independent media.

Trump is the opposite of Eisenhower, who golfed often as President, but then, Ike's country, just after WWII, had an economy that was humming along, and then, there were good jobs for all. OF course, Trump is the opposite Ike, he never served, saw service as something losers and suckers did, and couldn't run a war if he had to...oh right, he has to because he has started several.

Decapitation doesn't work other than to create decades long implacable enemies. Imagine someone killing your wife and child and many of your friends...would you just shrug and say...war happens, or would you be determined to hunt down and kill each and every monster who killed your family? Trump's family can never feel safe, and this war, which we thought would be one quickly, has just been aligned with the centuries old Sunni (Saudi)vs Shia (Iran) deadly Civil War.
Stupidity runs our government, it is not a good way to protect the American people, not that that is what Trump is doing I suppose.
