For the entirety of my adult life, anybody who suggested such a thing was derided as a commie pinko soshulizt anti-American filth.
I know you're refuse to believe it, but there have been people pointing out this inevitable outcome for about 30 years. Probably longer. That's just as long as I could see this inevitable outcome.
And it was blasted as anti-capitalist and a staunch HELL NO from the right to try to enact policy that stifled that outflow of jobs even a little.
