Does one gun getting stolen from the mail and used in a murder tell us the whole gun control system is broken,
Why or how would one get stolen from the mail? It's not like there's likely to be a sticker on the outside saying there's a gun. Why would someone bother with the increased difficulty of stealing from the mail (and additional federal charges IIRC)?
Finally, considering how easy it is to steal a gun from a random vehicle in a smash and grab, again, what would be the point of expending the extra effort?
That's what I mean by meaningful. Our society is so awash in readily available guns, this doesn't really add any significant opportunity for someone who shouldn't have a gun to obtain one.
