Amid a shortage of corrections officers the bureau of prisons ordered "70 is the new 100" meaning 70% of the required staff had to do the jobs of 100% of the work.

This has lead to officers working triple shifts to cover the shortage.

It all came to a boiling point when a riot at the Collins Corrections Facility over a cellphone happened last week.
