The US Department of Justice began an investigation into Mayor Brandon Johnson over allegations of race-based discrimination, citing his recent remarks at a Woodlawn church in which he emphasized how many Black people he's hired in his administration. Johnson received a letter from the DOJ saying there is "reasonable cause" to believe the mayor "made hiring decisions solely on the basis of race," in potential violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The probe was the latest attack on Mayor Johnson and Chicago from Trump. Trump Administration is suing the Windy City for to offering sanctuary to vulnerable migrants, while the school system is being sued for alleged antisemitism. Sources: Link One Link Two read more
Hundreds of hospitals in rural America are in danger of closing because they can no longer afford to stay open, according to the Center for Healthcare Quality and Payment Reform (CHQPR). The main reason: Insurance companies pay them much less than their big city counterparts for the same services. For example, in Trinity, TX, just 90 miles north of Houston, Mid-Coast Medical Center recently had to shutter because of this imbalance. The CHQPR report indicates 742 rural hospitals are at risk of closing, with over 300 of those being classified as being at "immediate risk." The CBO reports that Republicans' proposed cuts to Medicaid could leave more than 8.5 million people uninsured, forcing even more rural hospitals to close. Link: CBO Analysis read more
More Americans are exploring emigration to escape the Trump administration, but those looking to Europe are seeing their options narrow by the day. Restrictions on skilled worker visas, tougher rules on citizenship-by-ancestry programs, and pressure on the once widespread Golden Visa program are all eroding the legal avenues Americans, and other migrants, can take to live in Europe. Popular nations such as Italy, which once offered flexible rights to those who could show ties to the country, are making the move more difficult. One American said: "We want to exit. I'm at my maximum capacity of witnessing this." Archived source: Link One read more
France plans to build a brand new high-security prison in the Amazon rainforest near the site of the notorious Devil's Island penal colony in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, French Guiana. Bordering Suriname, the new Bastille will cost French taxpayers a total 400 million euros ($451 million) and will also house a court. This jungle dungeon would incarcerate drug kingpins and radical Islamists, including 60 maximum-security prisoners. How much de-forestation to build this 500-inmate gulag in not clear. Hi Corky: Years ago in Florida I met an indigenous man who was an alligator wrestler, slightly leaner than this mofongo: media2.malaymail.com
Anyways, there is still hope for mankind, as you can see the by the big white happy kitten in the Twitter link. If lions could purr, she would be.

After receiving this ill-gotten windfall, all paid for by the hard-working American taxpayer, the Babbitt family and the MAGA cult will demand a memorial or a statue for the fallen martyr: media.npr.org
Thanks to AIPAC, all of this infanticide, ethnic cleansing, suffering, and wanton carnage has been bought and paid for by the hardworking American taxpayer.
Who is your well-paid and well-entrenched incumbent Senator or Representative? The more money he or she receives from AIPAC, the quicker he or she yells "Hamas!" to the American audience, like gosh-darned clockwork: AIPAC Tracker
Trumpf hasn't seen his mentor since 2018 Finland. All of this hemming and hawing from Trumpf and him using Witless and Kellogg as special envoys sounds like a canard or a construct to validate an excuse for a summit between Trumpf and Putin. "See? The only way to get this done is for me to see Putin!" So another multi-million dollar travel extravaganza is coming down the pike: i.redd.it
The leaders of the UK, France, and Canada condemned Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to take control of the entire Gaza Strip, accusing him of "egregious actions." UK PM Keir Starmer, France President Emmanuel Macron, and Canada PM Mark Carney also warned of joint action if Netanyahu did not halt the vicious military offensive in Gaza. As of March 2025, the State of Palestine is recognized as a sovereign state by 147 of the 193 member states of the UN.
One immediate thing these three global leaders can do is recognize the State of Palestine, like 75% of the world already has. How much longer could this Pariah state and AIPAC continue to influence the remaining 46 countries of the UN?

China is performing better in the artificial intelligence (AI) arms race than many Americans understand, according to the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission. Mr. Kuiken, a commissioner on the congressionally chartered panel, said that Americans should learn from the example of China's DeepSeek making sudden gains in developing a powerful AI model earlier this year.
"I think they're doing better than we think they are and I assume that their best is behind the curtain," Mr. Kuiken said at a Center for a New American Security event. "We should assume that at all times."

Get ready for the AIPAC talking points: "This is a war;" "They should have voted for Kamala Harris;" "the leopards are eating their faces;" "They're all terrorists." Blah-blah-blah. No matter which American political party is in power, the Palestinian people have little to no friends in the US government.
The Palestinian people will go the way of the dodo.

#5: Good shot! Didn't the Texas Land Commissioner give the Trumpf junta free land to establish a mega-concentration camp there to house and expedite America's ethnic cleansing?
