While that IS a good proposal, the workers absolutely SHOULD own and control the means of production, it's unfortunately not one that is being or is likely to be proposed by the center-right Democrats.

We unfortunately have no mainstream socialist party in this country. Even worse, we do have a mainstream fascist party.

It's too bad that most clocks change themselves now. We need a popular revolt against 'standard' time, it's way past time for year round DST.

If we all just refuse to change them, the government won't have a choice. But I'm not even sure how to disable the time change on my thermostat.

There's kompromat on Johnson. Don't know what, but there's pretty much no question they have something on him that he REALLY doesn't want to get out. Doubt it's underage girls, might be underage boys, might just be run of the mill crime. But it's bad, probably worse than just his Grindr account.

No they don't. They keep voting to keep it shut down. If they want it to open, all they have to do is vote to extend the ACA subsidies.

The next president should IMMEDIATELY call in the bulldozers and take down the ballroom and get rid of the concrete in the rose garden.

Then the east wing should be rebuilt from the as-built drawings that I know exist, and the rose garden should be restored to exactly as it was when Kennedy was president.

I'm fine with the rest of it. But that stupid ballroom needs to be destroyed.

I really hope EVERY Democrat running in 2028 promises to bulldoze this thing and rebuild the east wing.
