CHICAGO, Oct 16 (Reuters) - A federal appeals court on Thursday rejected the Trump administration's request to pause a lower court ruling that temporarily blocks the deployment of National Guard troops in Illinois during its appeal.

A three-judge panel of the Chicago-based 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said it had no evidence that federal law enforcement has been unable to enforce immigration laws.

This was the full panel voting 3-0... one Judge appointed by Reagan, one each by Bush and Clinton.
