With sports betting now legal in 38 states and D.C., Americans are losing billions of dollars on parlays. "Wagering is entertainment, not income generation," says an executive at FanDuel, which generates two-thirds of its income on these high juice, multi-leg, low-odds wagers.

Oddly enough you have a way better chance of hitting a long odds parlay than winning the jackpot of any state run lottery.

I don't recommend them, and I recommend always hedging or cashing out early if available and payout is reasonable or enough that you've already won without added risk
