It is now being reported that the cop took the 5th over 100 times in a deposition including when asked "Did you ever observe a weapon in Emeshyon Wilkins' hand?" It is also looking more like others in the department have been involved in a coverup. STL PD is now reframing the story that Wilkins pointed a handgun, a claim which was supported by a photo of a weapon the department released at the time of the shooting, as having been based on incorrect information provided by a supervisor. |
