Nonesense. False equivelences. The fact is they have perfectly functional male or female bodies that don't need alterations and deemed in perfect health for military service. The hormones and surgical alteration are for cosmetics and serve no other purpose than to make a male "appear more feminine" and a female "appear more masculine". It doesn't enhance performance. There are plenty of eligible people who don't have the psychological need to... intentionally... disfigure themselves and demand that we all agree that biology has been defied and make accommodations for such silliness.
