I never said a word about cutting spending. By now we all know that cutting neither waste nor inefficiency was ever the object.

Trump has to cut $4.5 Trillion from the budget by next month to justify the tax cut for those who invested in his election. He DID promise them a return on that investment after he got elected.

Now he sounds desperate.

Could it be that he's coming up short of $4.5 Trillion and anointing himself "king" is just an end run (another Hail Mary) to put himself above any control Congress has over the budget.

Not to dwell too long on the obvious but wasn't it Joseph Goebbels who said, "If you tell a lie often enough people will begin to believe it's true." (or something along those lines)

And isn't also said that the bigger lie the easier it is to believe? (Like the ones he told to get elected.

In my opinion, the people of NYC come first. I hope the Governor cans his ass.

It's hard to say. Trump keep holding out for more money. Treason doesn't come cheap. Maybe the question will come up at Trump's impeachment.

Considering that Trump has been emotionally retarded since his childhood, of course it's always going to be somebody's else's fault.

I'm looking ahead two years for a big change of leadership in both the House and the Senate and hopefully an Articles of Impeachment against Trump to put an end to his carnage.

All Trump had to do is ask. However, in case Musk's personal wheeling and dealing on the taxpayer's dime comes back to bite him, I think we can be assured that there are some things Trump doesn't want to know

As I said before. With budget negotiations already underway for a vote in March, Trump is in a bad spot. He's desperate to offset that tax break for the wealthy people who invested in his election. They're demanding a return on that investment.

Every spending cut Trump is making is because of that and he doesn't care who or how many he has to hurt to get it. Not to mention that his tariff scheme is losing ground and some of his other big ticket cuts is running into resistance from the federal courts.

And then there's the mid-terms to worry about and Trump's slim margins in both the House and Senate are on shaky ground.

What you're seeing before your eyes is Trump running out of time to keep that promised tax cut in the budget and in the process of slowly unraveling.

Answer to that question:

It's Donald Trump. The word "Ethics" should have been Feliz's first clue.

To Trump, that word alone is like sunlight to a vampire in a syfi movie.

We all know how Trump feels about veterans and it's probably to cover up his own "bone spurs" cowardice when he was called to serve. However, he's also about $3 Trillion dollars short of justifying the extension of the tax break he promised to his uber-wealthy friends to pay them back for those lofty sums they invested in his election.

If we recall . . .

Trump failed in his attempt to abolish the limit on the national debt so he's turning over every rock and scraping the bottom of every barrel for how to keep that tax break for his friends in the national budget which is coming due in March.

What I'm noticing is the 'Targets for Assassination' list getting longer.

Since Trump would more than likely be unsuccessful at removing the U.S. from NATO vis-a-vie Congress, this warning sounds more like Trump trying to turn a loss into a win.

Plan B, so to speak.

McConnell has been in politics too long not to recognize Trumps rhetoric as red flags flying at full mast.

Kentucky doesn't have to worry about tariffs, especially on aluminum.

If I remember correctly, only just a few years ago McConnell used his position in the U.S. Senate to cut through several miles of red tape . . . not to mention violating clear rules against. . . to allow a Russian owned aluminum plant to set up operation in the state of Kentucky in direct competition with U.S. aluminum plants.

My sympathy for McConnell often waxes and wanes. This time it's waning.

McConnell bears some responsibility for not nipping Trump's election in the bud when he had the chance. There's no forgiveness for that.

Not so, REDIAL. It doesn't take brains to be emotionally immature. In fact, Trump often uses the first two lines of defense used by children.

"It's not my fault" and "Other people do it, too" (as in the case of the stolen documents.

Trump is not just emotionally immature. He's emotionally retarded.

I sent a few myself, wherein the word "COWARD" was prominently displayed. Not that it did any good. Apparently, their fear of Trump and the lives of their families is all-consuming.

Not too shabby but still . . . a baby step.

And too little/too late for Iowa to finally wake up from the drastic mistake they made in November 2024.

The final arbiters will be the U.S. Supreme Court whom themselves are steeped in unpresented corruption.

Time will tell if they self-correct.

The U.S. Supreme Court just ordered Musk to Cease, Desist and destroy any information he downloaded from the U.S Treasury thus far.

Who believes Musk will obey that order and what will Trump do if he doesn't?
