The pardons will be challenged on the basis the Biden was non compos mentis. Also lawyers are drafting class action civil suit for Covid survivors and Jan 6 detainees. Not as exciting, Congress will investigate and subpoena and call to testify over and over, so there will be many opportunities for obstruction and perjury charges.

There's no way the DOJ could have gotten this wrong. Just no way.

Biden's preemptory pardons are proof that he believes the DOJ or those he pardoned are corrupt. Otherwise why not have trials? If they're not guilty and the system isn't corrupt they'll be shown to be innocent.

This is disturbing from the standpoint that Biden is admitting the DOJ is corrupt. On the other hand it allows Trump to act in a completely unrestrained manner because the precedent has been set to pardon everyone in a corrupt administration. For the rest of us having to live under a corrupt DOJ without the means to get a pardon, well it sucks.
