You don't have to dig too deep into this guy's background to realize what's going on here...

One of those pervasive "deep staters" that's driving the country into ruin.

Still want to ban TikTok? Lol...

Shameless blackmail theft.

A Chinese-owned app is called a national security threat while a Russian-owned politician is called a Republican.

Just another reason to not download it.

I'd trust China to own tiktok before I'd trust a member of the Trump administration.
Want to know why politicians are interested in owning social media companies, just look at how Elon Musk shutdown the Don Lemon show.

TikTok is spread pro Palestinian sentiment.

AIPAC is going to shut it down.

It's not about banning tik tok. The law doesn't want to ban tok tok. It intends to remove it from Chinese control.

It's about who is allowed to steal and control our personal data and to control who provides disinformation to Americans.

Yeah and about unfavorable greatest ally sentiment in genZ

I love to see libs trying to adopt tired old Trumpian logic, while the OP has moved on and is now OK with free speech.

So does this mean that Tik Tok is now going to go the way of Twitter and become a right wing misinformation nazi, white supremacist protection racket?

If the Munchkin buys it you can count on it.

#14 | Posted by donnerboy at 2024-03-18 12:54 PM

Aren't there any non-evil people willing to buy it?

Mark cuban?

Having manuchin buy it might be worse than the chinese. His intentions are probably more anti democratic than theirs.

You mean back when the responsible owners tried to protect the country from foreign espioniage? Which enraged republicans because they rely on foreign espionage to win elections.
