... Neither publicly announced details of the deal, which marks a breakthrough after months of baby steps with small continuing resolutions to keep the federal government funded.

"We have come to an agreement with congressional leaders on a path forward for the remaining full-year funding bills," Biden said. "The House and Senate are now working to finalize a package that can quickly be brought to the floor and I will sign it immediately."

While House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., hinted that some work has to be done, the major hurdles have been resolved. ...

Now queue up the howling sh**gibbons to throw their feces at the deal at the demand of the orange stain.

#2 Now queue up those with TDS to take this bipartisan, feel good story and use it to dump on Trump even though he has nothing to do with it.

- he has nothing to do with it.

I come here for the comedy, and in that am never disappointed.

@#3 ... Now queue up those with TDS to take this bipartisan, feel good story and use it to dump on Trump even though he has nothing to do with it. ...

Yet?

Will history repeat itself, e.g., Fmr Pres trump torpedoes the bipartisan feel good story about the imigration bill that gave the GOP most, if not nearly all, of what they wanted.

Fmr Pres Trump has torpedoed a bipartisan feel-good story bills before.

Will he do it again?

Time will tell.

My guess is that he may not with this one.

Sorry, but I wonder who threatened to kneecap whom to get this budget agreed to by House Speaker Johnson.

Or maybe 'Step n' Fetch It' Johnson just hasn't received his marching orders from Trump yet.

Trump is having a hard time raising money. That's all those that used to be the GOP care about. If Trump's coffers keep drying up, they'll drop Trump faster than they would a 40 year-old trollop.

I agree with those who say the laws should be changed so that if Congress cannot agree on a budget, and a shutdown looms, then Congressional members lose some of their pay, maybe 10%, until a budget is passed. One of the most important duties they have is to administer the finances of the country.

Oh? We have a deal? I will believe it when I see it. I would trust a Republican as far as I can throw one.

They also had a deal on immigration.

How's that deal going ?
