Will history repeat itself, e.g., Fmr Pres trump torpedoes the bipartisan feel good story about the imigration bill that gave the GOP most, if not nearly all, of what they wanted.

Fmr Pres Trump has torpedoed a bipartisan feel-good story bills before.

Will he do it again?

Time will tell.

My guess is that he may not with this one.

Sorry, but I wonder who threatened to kneecap whom to get this budget agreed to by House Speaker Johnson.

Or maybe 'Step n' Fetch It' Johnson just hasn't received his marching orders from Trump yet.

Trump is having a hard time raising money. That's all those that used to be the GOP care about. If Trump's coffers keep drying up, they'll drop Trump faster than they would a 40 year-old trollop.

I agree with those who say the laws should be changed so that if Congress cannot agree on a budget, and a shutdown looms, then Congressional members lose some of their pay, maybe 10%, until a budget is passed. One of the most important duties they have is to administer the finances of the country.
