Former Vice President Mike Pence admonished GOP leaders Tuesday for approving a 2024 party platform that significantly shifted its stance on abortion, calling on delegates to restore the previous language during next week's national convention.

Trump has made them Delusional; started a Cult based on lies and fear.

Actual Conservatives, if you can find any like at the Lincoln Project, no longer have the Floor in that inner Party Debate.

The have joined a Cult. You can see it here every day with the Trump supporters that post on this site... fact-free, reason-free, Russian Controlled, and wholly deluded from reality.

The Republican party leadership never cared about abortion. They just knew what a great ticket it was to manipulate the masses for vote getting.

It has always been about the tax cuts and deregulation so they can eviscerate the rights of workers and the environment for more profits.

There was a time when some people listened to this guy. He did a solid for the country by ratifying the results of the election on 1/6. In a more sane world he would have been respected more because of it. Instead, Der Dotard and the MAGAs made him into a marginalized player, and he will never get off that bench again...

Pence is lucky Trump didn't make him disappear out a 10-story window.

Sometimes I wonder if they had found Mike Pence during the insurrection and succeeded in hanging him,I wonder where the MAGAs would bw right now? Probably it is lucky for Trump the MAGAs were not just a violent mob but also an incompetent and stupid violent mob. Had they locatrd snd assasinated Pence the reality of the insurrecyion woild have takrn on a much more ssinister impact on Amerivax politics instead of just being shoved under the rug br our media which doesn't seem to understand the threat to democracy the MAGAs and Trump actually represent. I fear that if Trump is elected and allowed to put his dictatorial ideas in place all Americans will feel the insanity of him and his followers. America is closer to brcoming a dictatorship than ever before in our history.

My fear is that Americans will get exactly what they deserve because it's the only way we will learn. Our collective memory is very short. And if another Trumpy presidency doesn't destroy us we will emerge stronger than ever. (What doesn't kill us makes us stronger)

Unfortunately we will all have to "go through some things" first. And not all of us will survive it. That's the part I am not looking forward to.
