Richard Simmons, the energetic fitness guru who wore short-shorts, died Saturday, one day after his 76th birthday.

His shtick wasn't anything that attracted me, but you could see where it appealed to many and actually helped a lot of people. Well done. RIP.

He was a great guest on the Howard Stern show back in the day. It was always funny when he showed up.
