Another young man who threw his life away because of #45. Judge Beryl Alaine Howell is Jewish and her father was a US Army officer; I can't imagine what she personally thought about an ex-US Marine rendering a Nazi salute.

@#3 ... Another young man who threw his life away because of #45. ...

Yup.

But to your point, my guess is that Mr ----- had already thrown his life away.

Back during the Charlottesville riot by white supremacists, he seemed to have been photographed giving the Nazi Heil Hitler salute.

So his decision to invade the Capitol does not appear to be some emergent decision, it seems to be a lifestyle choice.

But then, the question that needs to be asked...

Why does fmr Pres Trump seem to attract supporters who revel in the White Supremacy movement?

Is such an attraction on fmr Pres Trump's part intentional?

Stated differently, is fmr Pres Trump so needing of votes that he seems to actively cultivate the worst of the Country to get those votes?

I mean, going after the Sieg Heil Hitler votes?

Trump has given people like this permission to be as base as they want to be. He has tapped into their racist proclivities and has cultivated a cult following. Just like the wall. He doesn't care if it worked or not. After all he has hired these same undocumented immigrants that his base hates with a passion.

ya know, I think you are on to something.

I have often said that I view fmr Pres Trump as a transactional person, i.e., you give me this and I give you that.

Does fmr Pres Trump need the votes of the White Supremacists so badly that he is willing to make an apparent ~pact with the devil~ in order to secure those vote?

Yeah, an interesting observation.

thx.

And if Trump doesn't get back in, there will be many of his followers rotting in jail. And if Judge Cannon gets replaced, he gets to sit through a real trial with a real judge.
