Trump Gets No Black Votes in Michigan Poll

The WDIV/Detroit News poll found that the presidential race is a dead heat between Trump, the Republican nominee, and Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee -- with each receiving 41 percent of support. Among the Black voters surveyed, 82.1 percent supported Harris, 11.5 percent backed independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and none supported Trump.

Trump wasn't interpreting the situation correctly. He thought he had genuine support instead of what it was, a protest vote against an ineffective administration.

That has now changed.

Yup.

That's one issue with early polling, as noted by some a few times here.

Sometimes the polling results represent some ~protest votes~ registered by those polled, and not necessarily how they may vote come Election Day or even in later polls.

Frankly, I still am not sure we are past the protest vote stage of polling.

Could some of those who did not vote for fmr Pres Trump in the poll be registering a concern about his old age and state of his mental acuity?

I think one of the most racist things Putins punch board said was that "the blacks would love him because he has a mugshot" as he (and most of his feral supporters) believe they are all criminals.

It angered the communities of color.

Just one gaffe after another that went uncontested by the corporate media.

Then throw in the out and out racist attacks on Vladamir Futon's wife and his perfectly racist response of "Obviously she's not a white person ... but I love Usha, she's such a good mom." I'd say she should make him sleep on the couch, but then they would need a new one.

They (the GOP & the Trump Camp in particular) have always assumed
black people were gullible and easily fooled. They are neither.
Black people are just as smart as any other group of people, and a
'whole lot wiser' than most poor white folks who vote GOP. At least
they don't vote against their own economic interests regularly, as
poor whites so often do.
