Democracy Dies If We Drop Case of Trump, Egypt & $10million

Will Bunch: A credible allegation of a $10 million Trump bribe from Egypt is swept under the rug as bribery is increasingly legal in America.

FTA:

America's Founders were a little unclear about a lot of stuff " we're still arguing after 233 years about just what the heck they were saying about guns in the Second Amendment " but they seemed very adamant about one idea.

Bribery is bad for democracy.

On Friday, the Washington Post broke a bombshell story about a credible allegation of bribery involving the 2016 election of Donald Trump, Egypt's dictator Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and a mysterious $10 million all-cash withdrawal from an Egyptian state-run bank just five days before Trump became president " and adopted a more friendly aid policy toward the Middle Eastern nation.

Trump has been for sale his entire adult life.

Yes, he's shoddy merchandise and can't be trusted... but he has about 1/3rd of America believing he gives a flying F about them, when the truth is he couldn't possibly care about them less.

Cults of Personality will do that, and it's at it's worse when it attracts rwing populist authoritarians, nationalists who hate monger on race, creed, and gender, as in 1930's Italy and Germany.

Amen Corky-that is exactly where we're heading. It feels like they're 10 steps ahead of us and I hope Biden is focused on the election fraud that's coming along with the potential riots. It happened back then too.

- the potential riots

I think the US Military Brass will be ready for any real insurrectionist riots and plot because:

It's their Constitutional Duty, and they don't do Insurrections... they put a permanent end to them.

And they don't like Trump to begin with.

Barr and The Orange Pedo deserve the Menendez treatment.

Barr was the single biggest corrupt DOJ in history. Perfect fit for the single biggest corrupt president.

It is no long a question of his lack of morals. It is now a question of whether morals matter to the voters.

I was always worried about the cost of feeding Barr...

Every decade or two there is a new buzz phrase for politicians. Probably the worst I've seen in my life now is the liberal mantra "danger to democracy". While it was good when it started, liberals have made it so trivial and cliche with their use of it to describe everything that doesn't agree with liberal ideology.

Me: I just stepped on a bug
Liberals: OMG OMG OMG...THAT IS A CLEAR THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!!!!!

It has officially taken over the top spot, beating out the Rep's use of "Are you better off than you were 4 years ago" by Reagan. Even though it's still in use, it became grating to my ears to hear it in 1980 because it was like they used it for every single topic, even ones that had little bearing on the 4 years prior.

As Trump's own Aides testified, and will be doing so again in a couple of weeks, they and Trump committed various crimes trying to overturn the Election.

Which is a clear threat to democracy.

Not that you care.

Foreign Countries bribing the president?
Humtake: "It's okay because he's Republican!"

Typical

He did it to defeat the only woman who has ever run for the presidency in a country that never had a woman president.

Seems he felt like he needed a gang to defeat her...

She still got more votes.
