I really hope Trump wins and then speaks in front of the Hospitality Workers' Union and tells them:

"You know, I planned to eliminate your taxes on tips - but your union leaders chose not to endorse me so I guess they didn't like that plan so now you aren't getting a cut. I hope you enjoy paying those taxes."

Union heads would roll the same day.

It's a lie. Trump isn't going to eliminate taxes on tips, even if he's elected.

Same as telling retirees they won't pay income taxes on social security. It'll never happen. ESPECIALLY since that would only benefit better-off retirees.

They're just campaign lies, made to hook the gullible.

The average waiter salary in the USA is $31,672 per year or $15.23 per hour.

In NYC, the average salary for Waitress is US$63,620 per year.

At the $31K average, I believe that would be about $2k in fed taxes per year but I am sure Danforth will be running along with TurboTax in hand to update the number. At the NYC average, it would be like $6k in fed taxes.

So, I have to ask, what the F are you talking about?
