Rudy Giuliani Permanently Disbarred in DC

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani had his law license permanently revoked in the nation's capital, following similar action by a New York court earlier this year over Giuliani's role in former President Donald Trump's attempt to undermine the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Yup.

Fmr Mayor Giuliani was a pal of fmr Pres Trump from way back in the day, from what I've read.

OK, and totally unrelated, as I was searching for some articles about the ties (friendship?) between fmr Mayor Guiliani and fmr Pres Trump, this article appeared...

FBI tracked alleged Russian mob ties of Giuliani campaign supporter (1999)
publicintegrity.org

OK that is just too weird.

Speaking of too weird...

OK, I'm gonna stop looking for old articles about fmr Pres Trump and fmr Mayor Giuliani.

Who else has hitched their wagon to the Trump horses, and suffered the consequences of doing so?

How many?

All the people around Trump's J6 fiasco of an insurrection plan are going to prison, or are being ruined financially through their criminal efforts to overturn the Election... which, of course, Trump's sycophant's will claim he himself had nothing to do with.

Mark Meadows and John Eastman, Ginni Thomas and dozens of other co-conspirators will already be in prison when he finally gets there.

The spineless BAR must be bullish on a Harris Walz win in Nov. They had to wait 4 years and in the last 5 weeks of this election to take away his license just to be sure they cover their asses. They would have never disbarred him if Trump was looking good in the polls.

ALTERNATEFACTS

As an attorney Giuliani was an officer of the court. Whether or not he violated those tenants on his own or at the direction of his client is immaterial.

If you're accusing the American Bar Association of engaging in partisan politics, let me remind you that the Bar's decision was about Giuliani's felonious activities that took place over an extended period of time, and they were numerous.

You should be grateful that the Bar expels attorneys of Giuliani's caliber and stop making excuses for him.
