Ladies' Night Lawsuit Forces Restaurant to Close in CA

Historically, "Ladies' Nights" have been great for business. Discounted drinks or meals tend to draw a large crowd of women, which in turn tends to draw more men -- which then leads to packed bars and increased sales for the business.

Well, so long as they leave my "50% off for humans with large breastseses" discount in place. Donald Trump gets 75% off.

If they give the drink discount to women, then they should also give the same discount to any other cusomer who walks through their door.

Giving a discount to women apparently in order to attract those who prey upon those intoxicated women may have issues associated with that policy.

Gonna have to agree with you there. Discounts designed to attract rapists really shouldn't be a thing.

I suppose they could offer discounts on food instead. But then no guys would show up for the ladies attracted by that kind of offer.

I can see going on a date with a woman you have already met to a restaurant as that is a "safe" date but going there to pick up women? Sounds kinda desperate.

I admit I once got the phone number once or twice ( and more) from some really cute waitresses (but they weren't there for the cheap booze).

#8 Leave gaslighter alone. He ran a message board once; the waitress could not help herself.

Read the article and saw this:
______________________________

Earlier this year in California, the minor-league baseball team Fresno Grizzlies were sued for a promotional event for women.

But while the law was created to counter discrimination, the intentions of those who file such lawsuits have come under scrutiny, with some calling them opportunistic and exploitative. Across California, San Diego lawyer Alfred Rava filed hundreds of lawsuits against women's organizations and women-only events, from the Grizzlies' promotion to female-led startups to Mother's Day freebies, claiming they're unfair to men.

Businesses don't get to charge customers different prices based on what they have between their legs.

Is it really that difficult to understand?
