Report: Elon's Cybertrucks Are Deadlier Than Infamous Ford Pintos

A new report suggests that [Elon Musk's Cybertrucks] actually deadlier than one of the most infamous -- and flawed -- American cars ever made: the Ford Pinto.

More

Keep in mind: Elon's DOGE could theoretically try to gut DOT/the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agency tasked w/ overseeing/implementing safety regulations for cars.

If Elon Musk had any guts he'd be driving one.

Oh that's a horrible diss. I had a neighbor that had a Ford Pinto. Thing caught fire just down the street.

5 deaths in a year?

I wouldn't think that is a high rate ...

In any case, they're just stupid to begin with. Everyone I see someone driving one I assume they're a giant d bag.

Never rear end a Pinto.

Long story, but I drove a used Pinto throughout the summer of 78. A close relative was a car dealer who got it for me, and I tried not to take it personally.

That's why he needs to be in charge of something... like culling the population.

I had Pinto during my senior year in high school...

Sex in the back of a Pinto with the front seats folded down, in a blinding snowstorm.

Glorious, I tells yah!

LOL

I had a Pinto in high school. Was drunk at my brother's 18th bday party and went to go pick up a friend. Slammed it into reverse and let the clutch fly. We lived on a dead end. About halfway down the street I thought to myself, "I should probably look in the mirror." Wham! Slammed the rear end into a neighbor's car totaling both. Nothing happened.
Except I went home and went to bed. Not surprised when the cops showed up.
And on topic, I have no idea why anyone would buy one of these monstrosities, danger or not.
