George W Bush was a genius compared to Trump which does bring up a big problem in American oolitics! Americans don't like people smarter than they are. When the Democrats figure that out then they will be a force to be reckoned with. But until they stop trying to prove they are snarter, which they usually are, they will continue to lose. Americans don;t really want smart politicians; they want politicians with the ability to make Americans believe that they feel the same frustrations they do. Even if hey don't, it doesn't matter. Average Amweicans just need to feel that they do. Republicans have figured this out but unfortunately Democratsdon't seem capable of understanding human nature. People don't want to be talked down to! How to teach Democrats this is the challenge.
