American Progress in Peril

The U.S. is freezing research funding, canceling projects, firing thousands of federal scientists and creating an atmosphere of uncertainty that scientists warn could slam the brakes on progress.

Good for these academics and Canada. Our northern neighbor benefitted greatly when young educated Americans went there to escape the Vietnam War fiasco in the 1960s. Another version of that is happening again thanks to the Trumpf junta, although at a smaller scale: theworld.org

America is going to " go through some things".

Progress is now a dirty word. Like woke.

Don't expect any progress for the next 4 years.

Only pain and suffering and chaos and division and of course lots and lots of revenge and retribution.

We're russia now. Intellectuals don't do very good work under a dictator.

The damage to America will be exponential. Nazi persecution of Jews led to the exodus of scientists, preventing the Third Reich from getting the A-Bomb first during WWII, although the Germans did build rockets ahead of the Allies (the V1 and V2s). Other countries like Canada, France, or the UK will benefit from our tragedy.

Look to post-war England if you want a preview of what Trump will do to our economy if he's allowed to complete his term.

Here's hoping the grim reaper saves America.

American Regression is the sub-heading of the Project25 title page.

This has been a long time coming... Nixon wasn't crook enough, Reagan wasn't smart enough, W wasn't conscious often enough, but Trump?

Carny barkers and snake oil salesman always did well in Red States.

Only progress for average Americans is in peril; the very wealthy are having a great time what with their new 4 trillion dollar tax cut coming on the backs of those average Americans, and prices dropping on Trump's shock and awe campaigns against the same avg 'Murican's economies:
