I had jury duty a couple years ago for a gang shootout where someone died.

One thing I saw was they all carried guns (legal mind you) and were always either on their person or under a car seat.

One thing I noticed is the lack of hesitation they had when pointing and shooting a gun.

Frankly, I learned most people who own guns for home defense, even with training, would very likely die in a situation where they were defending their home.

Why?

Because these gun carrying violent sorts don't hesitate to shoot.

That being said security didn't know what kind of individual was rushing the stage.

They would screen people entering the building (very thorough screening btw). They would have been aware that the Podilla meeting was taking place.
